Springy Point Campground · Sagle, ID

This place is located by Lake Pend Oreille in Sagle, ID. What I liked about this location was the tall trees and lakeside view. The trees provided a ton of shade which is ideal for the hot weather. There was plenty of different spots in the area that would make a great space for a photo session. This place is also pretty family friendly, although you would have to walk around the area to the designated spots I found for photos. There is a great view of the lake with a dockside if you want photos on there. There's a couple of large logs lying on the ground for people to sit on for photos and also a little area with a fence. Make sure you wear nice walking shoes for your shoot. If you plan to wear heels, maybe just be sure to have change of shoes if you would like to. There's also a couple fun little paths that would make good photos too.

This location would be good for any of the photo services I offer. If you are wanting maternity photos done here, I'd just be careful when walking around the area. It can be easy to trip over things on the ground like rocks, pine cones, large sticks and so on. The ground is also uneven and there are some places where you have to walk up or down an incline.

Waldron Campground · Farragut State Park · Athol, ID

This location is in Athol, Idaho in the Farragut State Park. This are is fairly large and there is plenty of little spots to take photos. I love that there are some parts with grassy areas. It makes it nice to sit on for photos. I also found a small open field for photos as well. There is plenty of shade in this area in case it is hot outside. We do have to walk around a bit, but I'd say this location is great for any photography service I offer. Although there isn't a spot by the lake, I think this still is a wonderful spot for photos.

Higgens Point · Coeur d'Alene, ID

This is one of my favorites so far. As I was driving down to the location, the view was gorgeous. This one has so much to offer and I will say it can be a bit of a walk. You do have to go up a bit on an incline to get a higher viewpoint of the lake. But it was well worth it! If you're up for a challenge, ready to walk a bit, and get some good photos, this is the spot for you. There is a spot lower that will get you by the lake and then you have to walk up the trail to get higher. But that path is paved! I saw a lot of bicyclists when I was out!

Mickinnick Trail · Sandpoint, ID

This place is small, but would be a great spot for a mini session. It has an open field, large trees, and a fun little path. I didn't go too far down the trail, but from what I saw it was beautiful.
